They are fantastic right now but I think a few more months in the humidor will do wonders to this blend, similar to the Companion. The burn got ever so slightly wavey but always corrected and the draw was impeccable from start to finish. The wrapper is very thick and rough (read: toothy) and the construction is phenomenal.
Though there isn’t much for flavor transition a dark coffee undertone builds steam as the cigar progresses. The flavor is very rich with a lot of depth, lots of black licorice in the forefront. The wrapper is a Connecticut Broadleaf that covers a Nicaraguan binder and both. Made in the Dominican Republic, Casa Bella Maduro Cigars have a variety of smooth flavors throughout including sweet tobacco, spice, and nuts. These cigars are not only affordable, but come highly constructed with select quality tobaccos. Right out of the gate this cigar packs a serious flavor punch. Casa Bella Maduro Cigars are a budget friendly smoke by Sindicato Cigars. If you enjoy a bold and in your face Mexican San Andres cigar then this is a fantastic specimen. Flavor profile includes dark chocolate, burnt marshmallow, deep leather tones, and a bit of red pepper flake. Another winner joining the Chinchalle and Companion de Warped lines as blends coming out of Tabacalera La Isla, the facility owned by Hostos Quesada. As with many of Warped Cigars offerings, The Venture 1492 Gran Corona comes in one size – a wonderful medium sized smoke at 5 1/2 x 48. The blend features a beautiful dark, oily, Mexican San Andres wrapper over a Dominican binder from the Cotui region and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

This is likely the best Warped cigar to hit the market in the last year. I’m a big Warped fan, and the recent releases have been fantastic. If you can point us in the right direction. Each cigar has different, subtle characteristics to it. Tip: Buy a five pack, instead of just a single cigar you want to try. In that deeper, fuller, strong area and this is a smooth and really nice cigar. This cigar is about an 7.5 on the 1-10 scale of weak to strong sticks. It’s strong, almost full-bodied, and has that deep, smooth flavor that I absolutely love. My favorite vitola is a Corona and this is right up my alley. However, Warped keeps creeping up on me and I finally found something I really like. Of the two, I am more intrigued by the Illusione brand. I have no idea if those two brands are hated rivals or rivals at all, but it just feels like it to me. I kinda feel like Illusione cigars are the Yankees and Warped would be the Red Sox. Just like Hamlin says, “Smoke well, look good”, and you’re sure to look good when you light up The Arrival.If you are a sports fan, you’ll hear me on this. Ken Hamlin joins a list of famous athletes who have come out with their own line of cigars, including Ray Lewis, David “Big Papi” Ortiz, and Gary Sheffield. Hamlin says they are medium to full-bodied and are available in three sizes: Gran Toro (6” x 58), Robusto (5” x 50), and Toro (5 3/4” x 52). The Arrival features Dominican, Brazilian, and Nicaraguan tobaccos with a Nicaraguan wrapper. The name comes from his motto, which is to always show up and make his presence known, much like what his idol Deion Sanders taught him. He returned to Santiago a month later to meet with Inoa to start working on his own line of cigars…thus creating ‘The Arrival’. He eventually met La Aurora’s master blender, Manuel Inoa, at the ProCigar Festival in the Dominican Republic.
